RAPIDO REALISMO KALI, INTERNATIONAL
(RRKI)

BY-LAWS
Article I
DUES and FEES
Section 1
Individual membership dues shall be $35.00 USD for one year. This fee entitles member to all rights and privileges of the RRKI, access to member’s only information and activities, official certification of rank upon completion of all requirements, and special
discounts offered by the organization. Current RRKI membership must be maintained for recognition as an active member in good standing.
Section 2
Instructional Charter fee shall be $150.00 USD for one calendar year. This entitles Certified Instructors and Authorized Instructors all privileges prescribed in the RRKI Constitution and By-Laws.
Section 3
a) Any individual member who is thirty (30) days late for renewal of their membership shall be dropped from the rolls. Dropped individuals must complete a new application and will be charged a reinstatement fee of $20.00 USD.
b) Any Certified or Authorized Instructor who is thirty (30) days late for renewal of their membership and Instructional Charter shall be dropped from the rolls. Dropped instructors must complete a new application and will be charged an additional reinstatement fee of $50.00 USD.
c) Once a membership fee has been received by the RRKI, no refund will be made.
d) All Membership and Charter fees shall be used for the administration and operation of the RRKI and in providing professional services to its members.
b) All Certified Instructors and Authorized Instructors shall provide instruction and training in the RAPIDO REALISMO Kali system without addition, modification, and or inclusion of other tactics, techniques, or terminology from other styles, systems, and other forms of
martial art outside of the system of RAPIDO REALISMO Kali as taught by the Chairman and President Grandmaster Punong Guro Henry Espera.

Article III
INSTRUCTOR ADVANCEMENT
Section 1
To ensure that all Rapido Realismo Kali students receive technically correct instruction and training, and, to ensure the continued proficiency and advancement of instructors, all Certified Instructors are required to sponsor a minimum of one (1) advanced training seminar per calendar year conducted by the Grandmaster Punong Guro Henry Espera and one (1) conducted by RRKI Director of Training Batikan Guro Isagani C. Abon. All Authorized Instructors are required to sponsor a minimum one (1) advanced training seminar per calendar year conducted by the Grandmaster Punong Guro Henry Espera and two (2) conducted by RRKI Director of Training Batikan Guro Isagani C. Abon.

Article IV
RANK and PROMOTIONS
Sectio n 1
RRKI utilizes Ranking Systems using Title and the corresponding Belts to answer the need to motivate the students, for great respect and responsibility and Ranking should be a Step by Step Progressive Level.. Members can opt to wear the belt or not. as established by Chairman and President Grandmaster Punong Guro Henry Espera and Batikan Guro Isagani Abon, shall be utilized by all instructors for the training, instruction, promotion, and certification of all student members of the RRKI. Ranking should be a Step by Step Progressive Level.

Section 2
Certification in all the Ranking System is conferred by Chairman and President Grandmaster Punong Guro Henry Espera only from basic till Batikan Guro. Certification in the indigenous ranks is awarded in recognition of leadership, meritorious achievement and technical.

Section 4
Certified Instructors on Active status may promote students through the Student (Mag Aaral) Level and Fighter (Manlalaro/Mandirigma) Level ranks. Promotions to Certified Trainer, and a different level of Instructor (Guro, and higher) levels are approved and signed by the Chairman and President Grandmaster Punong Guro Henry Espera and Batikan Guro Isagani C. Abon.

Section 5
The requirements for promotion shall be:
1. Recommendation of Instructor
2. Knowledge of Rapido Realismo Kali history and protocol.
3. Ability to perform foundation skills with properly developed attributes.
4. Development and execution of control.
5. Knowledge and application of required tactics and techniques.
6. Improvement of past deficiencies.
7. No safety or disciplinary infractions.

Section 6
Student (Mag Aaral) and Fighter (Manlalaro/Mandirigma) Certification Fees shall be $10.00 USD. This fee shall cover the cost of recording, issuing and mailing promotion certificate.
Section 7
Certified Instructor (Guro) level certification fees shall be as follows:
Tagapagsanay
Aprendis Guro
Basikong Guro
Kabakas Guro $200.00 USD
Guro $300.00 USD
Batikang Guro as determined by the RRKI Chairman and President

Section 8
All promotions must be reported to the RRKI Secretary and all certification fees paid within thirty (30) days of successful testing.
c) Promotion Certificates will be received by instructors within three (3) weeks of submission of monthly report with promotion records and payment of fees.
d) Certificates shall identify:
1. Full name of student.
2. Rank level
3. Date of promotion

Article V
AWARDS
All Special Awards presented by Certified and Authorized Instructors that include, or refer to Rapido Realismo Kali and RRKI must be pre-approved by the Senior Vice President and Executive Director of the RRKI.

Article VI
DISCIPLINARY ACTION
Section 1
a) Certified and Authorized Instructors may, at their discretion, suspend, dismiss or in other ways discipline any student under his direct training and supervision. The Senior Vice-President may exercise this authority against any student.
b) The student shall have the right to appeal to the National Director, Executive Director, and Senior Vice-President, any disciplinary action taken against him or her.
c) All cases of demotion, suspension, dismissal, or other formal disciplinary actions must be reported to the Executive Director within thirty (30) days.
d) Causes for disciplinary action:
1. Failure to abide by the rules and regulations prescribed in the RRKI Constitution and or their Training Group.
2. Disrespect to a superior.
3. Failure to follow the directions of a superior.

Section 2
Certified and Authorized Instructors may have their Certification and Instructional Charter revoked by the Chairman and President or Senior Vice-President for failure to abide by the Constitution and By-Laws of the RRKI.

Article VII
MONTHLY REPORTS
a) A monthly report shall be submitted to the RRKI Executive Director by all Certified and Authorized Instructors.
b) The report shall include all activities conducted by the school, association, or group for the month and shall include a membership roster, promotions, disciplinary actions and summary of activities.
c) The complete report shall be submitted before the 15th of the following month.
d) Any Instructor that fails to submit a monthly report may be subject to disciplinary action.

Article VIII
USE of OFFICIAL RRKI NAMES, EMBLEMS, LOGOS, and IMAGES

Section 1
RRKI permits Certified and Authorized Instructors the privilege to use the trademarked official names, standards, emblems, logos, and images of the Rapido Realismo Kali system, RRKI and Rapido Realismo national organizations for official recognition, affiliation, and advertising purposes only.
Section 2
RRKI permits only Certified and Authorized Instructors the use of trademarked official names, standards, emblems, logos, and images for use on official school/association/group uniforms and the sale of required uniforms.
Section 3
RRKI permits only Certified and Authorized Instructors the privilege to design a unique school Logos with RRKI logo or for approval of the committee
Section 4
All other uses, manufacturing, production, and sale of items containing the trademarked official names, emblems, logos, and images are strictly forbidden. Violations will be prosecuted to the fullest extend of the law.

Article IX
UNIFORM DRESS CODE
Section 1
Members of the RRKI shall adhere to a uniform dress code.
Section 2
RRKI Training Uniform Shirt shall be in one of two forms:
1. Official Rapido Realismo Kali emblem on center front chest and school/association/group emblem on back (or reversed). Or other designed by the RRKI and a Training Pants. They may opt to wear a Shoes.
2. Official Rapido Realismo Kali emblem on center front chest and smaller school/association/group emblem on front left chest (or reversed). Or other designed by the RRKI and a Training Pants. They may opt to wear a Shoes.
Section 3
Official uniform shirt color for Student and Fighter Levels is White or Black. Official uniform shirt color for Authorized and Certified Instructors is Black. Certified Instructors may wear any combination of official color uniforms. Or other designed by the RRKI and a Training Pants. They may opt to wear a Shoes.

Article X
ADVANCED PROFESSIONAL SYSTEMS
Section 1
The Military Tactical System and Law Enforcement Defensive Tactics System are official trademarked advanced Professional Systems of Rapido Reaslimo Kali specifically developed for military and law enforcement training and certification by using Edge and Impact Weapons as well as Hand to Hand.

Section 2
Article XI
LIABILITY
All Certified and Authorized Instructors are responsible for the establishment of an independent business entity and subject to all government regulation. No instructor shall imply or assume any liability protection by the RRKI.

Article XII
INSTRUCTOR CODE of ETHICS
Section 1
No instructor shall establish a school, association, group or training facility within ten (10) miles of an existing school without approval from the Chairman and President, Senior Vice President or Executive Director of the RRKI and the closest Certified and Authorized Instructors.

Section 2
All students transferring from one school to another must be classified as a member in good standing.

Section 3
All instructors will manifest the highest level of respect for, and among, all instructors of the RRKI. Any grievances must be brought to the immediate attention of the Senior Vice-President and Chairman and President for resolution. Approved and in full effect this ______day of October, 2010.

(RRKI)

CONSTITUTION

PREAMBLE
We, the officers of the Rapido Realismo Kali International, present this declaration as our organizations policy.
Article I
NAME
The name of this organization shall be the: Rapido Realismo Kali International (RRKI)

Article II
AUTHORITY
Rapido Realismo Kali International (RRKI) is the highest governing body and authority for the instruction, certification, Promotion and propagation of the Rapido Realismo Kali system. The Grandmaster, Punong Guro Henry Espera. serves as Chairman and President of the Rapido Realismo Kali International (RRKI) and presides over all national Rapido Realismo organizations worldwide.

Article III
MISSION
1. Provide professional instruction, training and certification in the complete and original system of Rapido Realismo Kali, an authentic indigenous Filipino fighting system and cultural martial art of the Philippines.
2. Provide knowledge and teaching of Filipino history, culture, art, science, and philosophy as related to the study of Rapido Realismo Kali and Filipino fighting arts.
3. Provide professional certified instructors in the multi-disciplined fields of Health and Fitness, Personal Safety 4. for Private Citizens, Law Enforcement and Defensive Tactics, and Military Close Quarters Combat and Survival.
5. Introduce Kali to the public through, but not limited to lectures, seminars, classes, tournaments, and exhibitions.
6. Promote the study of Kali as a means to develop moral character, leadership skills, personal discipline and a healthy union of mind, body and spirit.
7. Develop programs for studying, practicing and teaching Kali with an aim to preserve Kali and related arts.
8. Serve the community using RRKI resources



Article IV
INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP
Section 5 - Requirements of Membership
All members, except Affiliate, will agree to obey the rules and code of conduct of the RRKI, as set forth in the Constitution, and meet the financial requirements of membership as applicable. Membership shall be open to individuals recognized to be of good moral character and reputation, who are dedicated to the mastery process of Kali and to the advancement of the Rapido Realismo Kali system. All members must agree to abide in full the Constitution and By-Laws of the RRKI..


Section 6 - Code of Conduct
Rapido Realismo Kali International members will conduct themselves in a positive, moral and ethical manner with behavior consistent with the standards of the RRKI. Mutual respect of others, property and community will maintain a stable and healthy environment for RRKI members and those in contact with the RRKI. Because the RRKI wishes to promote individual and community growth through the revival of Filipino martial arts, members should use the knowledge and skills learned for constructive purposes only – to promote health and to preserve life.

Section 7 - Financial Requirements of Members
Upon approval of membership, applicants shall assume responsibility for paying annual membership dues as set forth by the individual club or group. Said fees and dues will be paid on or before dates specified by the club or group.

Section 8 - Meeting of General Membership
General membership meetings shall be held annually in August or as requested by the RRKI members. Status reports from board members will be heard at each meeting. Written notice for official general membership meetings will be emailed to members at least 2 weeks prior to the meeting date. These meetings shall be called by the Board of Officers for project development, community involvement, social events, decision-making, and general voting for which a simple majority of the membership is required to validate eligible votes.

Section 9 - Status of Members/Non-Members
Applicants shall undergo a probationary period. The probationary period will allow current RRKI members to evaluate the integrity, judgment, and ethics required of the candidate. A majority vote of group members shall decide whether membership will be extended to applicants.

Individuals seeking involvement with the RRKI, but not membership will be known as Guests. Involvement with the RRKI may include study, training, community service and/or social events. Guests will have no official vote concerning RRKI matters, but the advice and wishes of a guest may be heard and considered by members. The Chief Instructor or Board of Officers will determine any financial requirements of guest (as applicable) for costs such as tuition and training.

Section 10 – Website and Internet Communications
In addition to the RRKI code of conduct, the following general content rules apply to all RRKI members and visitors to the RAPIDO REALISMO website.
• Do not use obscene or offensive language;
• Disagree with due respect, avoid personal attacks;
• No anonymous postings, use your real name;
• Do not solicit, advertise or post spam;
• Respect the privacy of others, do not collect identifying information from participants.

RRKI reserves the right to remove comments from the Forum and Guest Book sections that fail to meet our standards. The Board of Officers will monitor and, if appropriate, censor unacceptable content.


Section 1
Membership shall be open to individuals recognized to be of good moral character and reputation, who are dedicated to the mastery process of Kali and to the advancement of the Rapido Realismo Kali system. All members must agree to abide in full the Constitution and By-Laws of the RRKI..
Section 2
Official Membership Application and membership fee must be received by the RRKI before application is processed for approval.
Section 3
Membership applications shall be approved by the Chairman and President, Senior Vice- President, Executive Director, and National Directors.


Section 4
Membership in the RRKI shall be through a club, organization or as an individual and will be divided into four categories:
• Individual - any person who has an interest in the study, and/or practice of the Filipino martial arts and are recognized as members of the RRKI.
• Associate / Training Group - any club or organization that maintains a cohesive group and upholds the standards of the RRKI, and are recognized as members of the RRKI.
• Affiliate – any individual, club or organization that shares a common interest with RRKI and are recognized by the membership as colleagues of the RRKI.
• Honorary – inactive members who have retired or moved away from RRKI group locations or persons and institutions that have rendered distinguished service in promoting and developing the objectives of the RRKI.

Associate, Affiliate and Honorary memberships must be approved by the Board of Officers.

Article V
INSTRUCTOR CLASSIFICATION
RRKI classifies instructors as Certified or Authorized.
CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR
Section 1
Certified Ins tructors are those instructors who possess and have demonstrated qualified teaching skills and ability and have received documented certification through training, evaluation, and testing from a Certified Instructor of the Rapido Realismo Kali International (RRKI)or preceding recognized organization.
Section 2
All certifications remain valid unless revoked by the Chairman and President or majority consensus of officers of RRKI.
Section 4
All Certified Instructors must maintain current individual membership and possess a current Instructional Charter to be classified on Active status and exercise full privileges identified in the RRKI Constitution.
AUTHORIZED INSTRUCTORS
Section 1
Authorized Instructors are Non-Certified Instructors who have been granted the authority to organize and conduct group and private training in the system of Rapido Realismo Kali. Authorized Instructors are enrolled in the Instructors Candidate Training Program for Certification.
Section 2
Authorized Instructors retain the rank of Fighter (Lakan) Level Anim (6) while enrolled in the Instructors Candidate Program.
Section 3
Authorized Instructors on Active status receive authorization to organize and conduct group and private training in the system of Rapido Realismo Kali through a geographically identified and named school, association, or group.
Section 4
All Authorized Instructors must maintain current individual membership and possess a current Instructional Charter to exercise the full privileges prescribed in the RRKI. Constitution.

Article VI
INSTRUCTIONAL CHARTER
Section 1
All Certified Instructors and Authorized Instructors conducting group or private instruction must be issued, and have in their possession for display, an official RRKI Instructional Charter signed by the Chairman and President, Grandmaster Punong Guro Henry Espera.They must also send a monthly report for the programs and expansion of the Group and their plans.

Section 3
All Certified Instructors and Authorized Instructors are responsible for ensuring all group and private students are active members of the RRKI

Article VII
OFFICERS
Section 1
The Officers of the RRKI shall be:
1. Chairman and President
2. Senior Vice President and Director of Training
3. Executive Director
4. Secretary
5. Treasurer
6. Special Advisor
7. National Director

Section 2
RRKI Founding Officers and appointments:
Chairman and President -. Henry E. Espera
Senior Vice-President and Director of Training – Isagani C. Abon
Executive Director and Secretary –
Treasurer -
National Directors – as appointed
Special Advisors – as appointed
c) Shall appoint National Directors and issue other appointments and demotions as necessary for the conduct of the RRKI and ensure all members adhere to the Constitution and By-Laws.
d) Shall approve Instructional Charters for eligible Certified Instructors and individuals meeting requirements as Authorized Instructors.
e) Shall provide instruction, guidance and senior level promotion for all members. Senior Vice-President
a) Shall assume the duties of the Chairman and President in his absence.
b) Shall assist the Chairman and President in all matters as requested.
c) Shall serve as the RRKI Director of Training responsible for all standardized training curriculums, instructional methods, and rank standards.
d) Shall be responsible for all Intellectual Property and Proprietary Information Protection pertaining to the RRKI including, but not limited to all trademarks, service marks, and copyrights of all materials, images, and products.
d) Shall approve all publicity and promotional material of the RRKI prior to being released by Instructors.
e) Shall provide the Chairman and President quarterly reports on membership, promotions, revenues and other business activities of the RRKI.
Executive Director
a) Shall assume the duties of the Senior Vice-President in his absence.
b) Shall assist the Senior Vice-President in all matters as requested.
c) Shall serve as Chief Administrator of the RRK.
d) Shall be responsible for all RRKALI membership accounts and records.
e) Shall organize all Instructor Advancement seminar and training schedules.
e) Shall appoint Directors for all special committees of the RRKI and provide oversight of all committees.
d) Shall edit and publish the Official RRKI Newsletter.
e) Shall advise members of Constitutional Amendments.
Treasurer
a) Shall be responsible for all RRKI financial accounts and records.
National Director
a) Shall supervise all RRKI Kali system activities in their respective country.
b) Shall coordinate the publicity and promotion of all Rapido Realismo Kali system activities in their respective country.
c) Shall be responsible and accountable for ensuring RRKI membership of all Instructors and students in their respective country.
Special Advisor
a) Shall be reserved for Master level instructors of the RAPIDO REALISMO KALI system
b) Shall be recognized as Subject Matter Experts in their field of specialization.
c) Shall advise the Chairman and officers on matters necessary for the professional advancement of the RKKI.

Article VII
AMENDMENTS
Section 1
The Constitution and By-Laws may be amended by a majority vote of the Chairman and the officers of the RRKI.
Section 2
Written notice of amendments must be given to all RRKI members after approval.
